ABOUT WOMANZ (Women of Australia and New Zealand)
We are an informal network of Australia-based businesswomen (and men) who have a Kiwi connection in common.
Our vision is to build a diverse business community that fosters professional and personal connections and opportunities through unique business and social events.
It's all about embracing our identity as Women of Australia and New Zealand and contributing to the Australasian business community, ensuring we have fun while doing it!
The WOMANZ network is run by a volunteer committee:
OUR STORY
WOMANZ was created in 2012 in Melbourne, when we realised there was a great opportunity to connect the many and varied businesswomen from across Australia and New Zealand to create a powerful network of like-minded people.
Backed by the New Zealand Victoria Business Group (NZVBG), a small group of volunteers set about organising interesting events, with a Kiwi flavour, that would inspire people to connect, share and have fun. The interest in WOMANZ was instant, and we haven’t stopped growing since!
Our events are currently held in Melbourne and online. With connections from across the globe we hope to host events in other cities as we grow.
WOMANZ has a committee of dedicated volunteers consisting of:
Chair - Kathryn Dixon, Treasurer - Jane Wood, Secretary - Lisa Campbell, Gemma Keogh, Andrew Bester and Linley Watson.
